Achievements of the Centre
The Centre activists have planted more than 20,000 trees on the campus and along highways in Calicut district. Water holes and check-dams have been made in the thick forests of Wayanad wildlife sanctuary, to provide drinking water for wild animals. We have been conducting workshops on painting and sculpture since the last 15 years in fond memory of A.C.K. Raja an old student of the college and renowned artist. The 15th year celebrations of the A.C.K. Raja Memorial All Kerala Artists' camp was held on the banks of the Anamchira Check-dam in Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, Wayanad. This 150 metre check-dam was built by us in 1998 We have plan to make the 100 acre college campus into an Open Air Sculpture Gallery. The forth statue in this series is nearing completion
